Celebrating the  love of Josh and Teddi

Up Teddi and Josh The Proposal Our Wedding Day RSVP/Registry Events Journal Our Story wedparty Out of Towners

September 17th:  I've just spent the last 3 weeks dedicated to school and the big  TEVA  trip that I'm in charge of.  Got to cook, with friends, Josh's been cooking to support me, and now I can start to think about wedding plans again.

September 3rd: Playing on the internet and typed "Josh and Teddi" into Google.   Try it and see what happens.  I was really excited!

August 28: School starts tomorrow, Teacher Week that is.  A time for planning, and preparing for the kids arrival.  As of tomorrow ALL wedding plans are on HOLD.  So let's see... date, place, caterer, officient, music, florist, videographer, registry, bridesmaids, bridesmaids dresses, and groomsmen are all in place.  Now we are left with dress, photographer, cake, time, final menu, invites, ketubah, tuxes, ceremony, wedding flowers, rings, music list, and  honeymoon to do.

August 15-26:  Almost back to school time.  Meeting with different Photographers, and hearing bands.  Stress is up.  Hoped to be thinner and have more plans jelled by now.  I guess things happen when they're meant to.  I'm not ready to go back to school on one hand, and excited about the new year on the other.

August 15-21: Chugging on music and Photography.  Josh and I went on our date day to the local orchard, and picked Blackberries and cut flowers for the house.

August 12th:  The Doctor!
Alex "the SOCS man" Banks argues his PH.D dissertation and walks away a doctor!  Great Job Zander!!!  People in attendance who are not in the field were able to walk away with a feeling of understanding!

August 7th-14th:  Down the shore for the Dad's Birthdays.  Both of our Dad's have the same birthday August 8th.  We wend down on the 7th to celebrate down the shore.  The 6 of us were on the boat fishing  and had a blast.  The rest of the week was spent partially down the shore with my parents.  We also saw a few shows including a really good comic called Kevin Pollack.

First week of August:   Finally got my ring sized, cleaned, checked and polished.  It looks beautiful!   Started with gusto to get Photography and Music decisions underway for the wedding. We also picked an asked our officient for the wedding.  Jhos Singer!  Yeay!!!

Last week of July:  Josh  broke down 7 photo booths.  I'm seeing friends, and picking bridesmaid colors. The colors will be turquoise, bright royal blue, and navy.  The ladies will pick their own dresses.  We also went to the Matisoff Family picnic.  Here is my new family!

July13-24th I was gone most of the time. Poor Josh.  He must have missed me because he brought me flowers when I got back and he found roses that smell.

July 12th:  We went to a food tasting... our first one!  It was at Knowlton Manor.  I wasn't so impressed with the food.  They also had a live band.  We were the only ones dancing.

July 4th:  Josh and I are back from our first week of vacation!  We had an awesome time. Josh finds our trip to Origins an affirmation how lucky he is.  So do I.  On the trip we saw fireworks in Columbus (I know he'd rather be gaming, but he did it for me), and he stopped on the way home to view some local fireworks.    We also told the Looneys, the makers of Fluxx, our story and they linked us to their website. (at the bottom)

June 28th: Leave tomorrow for vacation with Josh!  Wedding has been booked for The Springfield Country Club!!!   The manor was about 35%-45% more money per person. I'd rather more friends and loved ones than less.   The date is June 25th, 2006

Last weeks of June:  A little R & R and looking for the perfect place to hold the wedding with my Mom.   The final two winners. They are The Springfield Country Club or the Knowlton Mansion.

The Springfield CC  is beautiful and classy, and my mom likes the convenience of their planner. It will most probably be less expensive, easier to plan, and really nice but it feels like it could be anyone's wedding.

The Mansion has grand ceilings and open area, and feels more like me. They have yummy food stations and a mansion to tour. I'll meet with the staff of the mansion, see how they set up their weddings, and the price difference.  Both places allow for outdoor wedding space and emergency indoor contingency plan.

June 2nd-3rd week: Last week for the kids. I find out the Jewish calendar is against me and have it confirmed by a Rabbi!  October has Jewish holidays on EVERY weekend that still has leaves on the trees. Looks like we MUST move the date!!! How about late April, early May?  What do you mean no weddings during the counting of the Omer?

June- 1st week- Are you registered?  Have you picked a date?  Not yet registered, but I looked at stuff at Macy's.  The tentative date is October 14th.  I always wanted to get married in fall, with the trees changing their colors.  People who ask are told of the tentative date.

May 22-30th  What a week!!!  My brain refused to work because it was so high on the engagement!  As much as I wanted to take that Monday off, I had the BIG science fair that day , and 100 projects to set up! The day went quickly and slowly.  I told everyone at work about the engagement and spent a lot of the day crying with tears of Joy.  Tuesday we both took the day off for a little R & R and also saw Star Wars (2 tickets - $8+ popcorn) That Friday grades were due.  The truth is I could have cared less about anything other than Josh!
