In 1995 I received my Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood and Elementary Education at Beaver College, now Arcadia University in Glenside, PA. While at Beaver I was very busy in various clubs including the drama and choral groups. But as hard as I worked I also enjoyed an active social life! Activities and offices include: President of Hillel, Vice President of The Science Fiction and Fantasy Agency, Treasurer of Masque (drama club), Treasurer of The Castleaires (acappella group), Founder of D.I.F.F.E.R.E.N.C.E (collegiate multi-cultural education), Treasurer of Pride, Student Government Senator, Student Government Club Representative Orientation Leader
While at Beaver I seized the opportunity to study and teach abroad. I spent 6 months in York, ENGLAND studying at St. John College of Ripon and York and teaching in a rural town called Doncaster. It was one of the best experiences of my life! I then traveled through Europe on my own. Having traveled through Europe before, I decided to really get to know each city I visited. Therefore, I only visited Germany and Prague. I believe that if your brave enough and use your common sense, traveling through Europe on your own is fun exciting and rekindles your faith in humanity and the goodness of people.
